George Brooks
Chief Executive Officer
A Marketing graduate of Auckland
University, George has an extensive background in sales, marketing,
general management and export, primarily in the paper and printing
industries. He entered the recruitment industry in 1991 as CEO.
Since that time he has been involved in business development,
acquisitions and divestments, and holds Directorships in both
publicly listed and privately held companies.
Carol Dallimore
General Manager
Senior Management Recruitment / Search work
and Recruitment Strategy Advice including Recruitment Audits
Carol has been working in executive search
and selection since 1987. She has extensive recruitment experience
across all functions and sectors. Carol currently manages the OCG
HR and Assessment Team and is focussing on working with clients,
developing their talent management strategies, along with senior
recruitment.
Shane Mackay
General Manager - Wellington
Shane joined OCG as General Manager,
Wellington in November 2009. His recruitment experience spans 12
years in executive recruitment and HR consulting partnering a range
of Private and Public sector organisations. Shane then 'crossed the
fence', spending 3 years as the HR Manager of a group of property
companies before returning to the recruitment industry to head up
the Wellington operations of a global recruitment consultancy.
Shane manages the OCG Wellington Office and is responsible for
senior appointments and driving senior strategic
relationships.
John Rainey-smith
General Manager - Public Sector
John was appointed to the OCG Group of
Companies in 2008 through the acquisition of his boutique agency,
Challenger Recruitment, which had served the Wellington market for
19 years. Prior to recruitment, John worked in senior management
roles across a range of industries including Airline, Private and
Public sectors. John is responsible for managing senior strategic
relationships across the Public Sector for OCG nationally and is a
member of the Management Lead Team.
Tim Slyfield

Tim joined OCG in January 2007 as
Associate Director for the Accounting & Finance team after
spending three years in Auckland as a Senior Divisional Manager of
a global recruitment consultancy. Prior to this, Tim spent four
years in London recruiting senior financial professionals into city
financial institutions and blue chip organisations. Tim will
personally be responsible for senior appointments, driving senior
strategic relationships, while also managing the OCG Accounting
& Finance teams.
Kirsty Cels
Associate Director

Kirsty began her career in Sales &
Marketing and subsequently moved into recruitment in 1995. She has
recruited across a wide range of markets and industry sectors with
OCG and also worked in recruitment and HR in the UK. Since 2001,
Kirsty has specialised in FMCG and is responsible for the FMCG and
Retail Sectors, and manages the Sales & Marketing Executive
Leasing and Permanent Recruitment Teams.
Scott Freeman
Associate Director

Scott's recruitment experience spans
nearly 10 years having come from a sales recruitment and training
background in the UK. Since joining OCG in 2003 he has enjoyed a
breadth of recruitment and management experience across Accounting,
Operations, Sales and Marketing disciplines, within the FMCG,
Infrastructure, Manufacturing, IT and Retail sectors. Scott is now
responsible for managing the Sales/Marketing and Supply
Chain/Operations teams. He is also responsible for driving business
development and strategy across the Retail/Wholesale and
Manufacturing/Industrial sectors.
Mary Sutton
Associate Director
Part of OCG since 1997, Mary is the
Associate Director overseeing OCG’s Preferred Supplier client
portfolio. Mary is also responsible for specific development areas
of our consulting team to ensure the best possible service
delivery. In the past, she has held Associate Director roles
encompassing the Sales and Marketing businesses for a range of
industries, most recently in the Services sector. Her original
experience with OCG was both within and leading the FMCG Sales
& Marketing business.
Johnny Bass

Johnny has been part of the recruitment
industry for over 10 years and has held senior management and
recruitment positions across multiple sectors and disciplines. His
recruitment experience has been at senior levels across Sales &
Marketing, Project/Change Management, Accounting & Finance and
Technical & Operations. Johnny is responsible for managing the
Sales/Marketing Services team and for driving business development
and strategy across the wider Services sector.
Tom Mcmorran
Manager - Sales & Marketing, FMCG

Tom started his career in Marketing and
has recruited Sales and Marketing professionals since 1998. His
experience is principally specialised FMCG industry recruitment in
the UK and in NZ. Tom joined OCG's FMCG team in 2000 and manages
the FMCG Sales and Marketing permanent team. He recruits mid to
senior Sales, Marketing and Trade Marketing roles.
Jo Henderson
Manager - Accounting & Finance

Jo joined OCG in January 2007 having
previously been recruiting Accounting roles for a global
consultancy here in Auckland. Prior to working in recruitment, Jo
was with KPMG working in the Business Advisory division and as a
result, she has a strong understanding of the industry. Jo is
responsible for managing the Accounting and Finance Executive team
as well as recruiting mid to senior level Accounting and Finance
roles within the FMCG and Service sectors.

Phillipa Dale

Pip graduated with a Commerce Degree in
Marketing in 2000. Utilising her Marketing degree, Pip worked
within a reputable electronics brand for four years before
beginning her recruitment career in London. She spent over four
years working across the Accounting and Finance function for a
number of FTSE 100 companies, latterly specialising in Tax. Pip
returned to Auckland to join OCG in 2008 and specialises in
recruiting permanent mid to senior Operational roles for the
Financial Services sector.
Simon Rooney

Simon joined OCG in 2008 after spending
the past 7 years in the Irish market working for a leading
indigenous recruitment company. Prior to this he was in London for
3+ years as a HR Officer for a well-known blue chip
multinational.
Kirsty Munro

Prior to joining OCG in January 2007,
Kirsty spent 3 years specialising in all levels of Travel and
Hospitality recruitment in New Zealand. She has a BA (Hons) in
International Business Studies from the University of Northumbria
at Newcastle, UK and a background in Sales and senior PA /
Administration positions in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
Kirsty manages the Permanent Business Support team and recruits
permanent Business Support roles.
Sharon Ward duncan
Manager - Research & Sourcing
Sharon entered the recruitment industry in
1990 having previously worked in sales and management within the
Banking & Finance and Office Equipment industries. In the UK
for 5 years, Sharon was a senior manager in a large London
Accounting & Finance recruitment company and then joined OCG
Consulting in 1996. Primarily recruiting in Accounting &
Finance and HR, Sharon has also recruited some Sales &
Marketing and Technical & Operations roles. As Manager of
Research & Sourcing since 2008, Sharon is focused on OCG's
candidate attraction capabilities encompassing overseas alliances,
technology and partnerships.
Donna Miller
Manager - Human Resources
Donna is a member of our Management team
and has been with OCG since 1999. She has worked in a variety of
roles in the business, with a considerable emphasis on learning
& development and organisational development. In managing the
OCG Development Centre, she designs and delivers best practice
training programmes across the organisation and more recently, has
taken some of our highly developed IP and designed bespoke training
for a number of clients around recruitment and interview training,
change management and performance management. Prior to life at OCG,
Donna spent 10 years in the Airline industry with The Mount Cook
Airline Group.
Philip is CA qualified. He has broad
experience in a number of sectors that include chartered
accountants, finance, manufacturing and property. He has been
working in the recruitment industry since 1994.
Victoria Prebble
Operations Manager
Victoria joined OCG in 2003, bringing with
her strong customer service and leadership experience following
several years working in Team Leader/Customer Service roles in the
UK and New Zealand. As Operations Manager for OCG, Victoria is
responsible for our day-to-day operations, admin processes and
systems through the management of our Administrative team. She is
involved in project teams to ensure outstanding quality and service
delivery to all stakeholders. Victoria also provides support to the
Management team and the OCG Development Centre.
