In order to make sure we match the right candidate to the
role, OCG Consulting offer a wide range of psychometric
assessments, either as part of the selection process or for other
HR services such as development and coaching.

Preparation:
There’s very little ‘study’ preparation you
can undertake. To prepare for psychometric assessment, it is
beneficial to look at relevant assessment websites and gain an
understanding of the sorts of questions you may be asked and the
types of formats to expect.

Remember to be as open and honest as you can before completing
the assessments, especially the personality questionnaires. These
assessments are all about ‘fit’ and matching the right
person to the role. You want to make sure you are in a role which
you enjoy and where you are able to make use of your
strengths.

Amanda’s core area of expertise is in the provision of
psychological assessments for the purposes of selection, assessing
general potential, career counselling, succession planning, and
outplacement.

Rita joined OCG in 2005 and is a
Registered Psychologist. She specialises in Psychometric Assessment
for both selection and development and is a Consultant Psychologist
for OCG. She is also involved with Career Coaching, Outplacement,
Interview Training and recruits HR roles under $60k.
