Structure And Ownership Of OCG
OCG was formed in February 2000 by a management buyout of the executive services business of one of New Zealand’s largest privately owned recruitment firms. This management buyout was created from a legacy of experience, product and services, processes, reputation and relationships.
In November 2007, Chandler Macleod, Australia's second largest recruitment company, acquired a majority shareholding in OCG. Chandler Macleod focuses on the provision of complete and fully integrated human capital solutions across blue-collar, Office Support, Technical, IT, Health, Professional and Executive recruitment and contracting. Additionally, the company offers comprehensive consulting services encompassing psychometric assessment, leadership, culture, organisational design, executive coaching, outplacement, career transition, talent management and training. Chandler Macleod is also at the leading edge of the fast growing recruitment process outsourcing sector.
In January 2007, OCG acquired 75% of Pinnacle Recruitment - specialists in the recruitment of talent for the Information and Telecommunications (ICT) industry. Pinnacle Recruitment was established in 2000 and has grown to be a market leader in New Zealand, working with many of New Zealand’s commercial and government organisations - both large and small, as well as many service organisations and ICT vendors. While part of the OCG Group of Companies, Pinnacle Recruitment operates independently of OCG (except where there are client synergies), specialising in contract and permanent IT and Telecommunications roles. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide a wide solution to our clients and candidates. Pinnacle Recruitment was targeted due to its core IT experience and recruitment expertise, along with its history and reputation for quality service delivery.
