OCG has partnered with a well known New Zealand based business within the construction sector.  As experts in their field, they pride themselves on their ability to offer a consistent end-to-end customer experience, advising, sourcing and supplying with continued commitment to quality.  This is a business that is investing in its future and striving to be the best that they can to remain ahead of the competition.  Due to internal promotion, we now have an opportunity for an exceptional leader to run their Christchurch Branch.

As Branch Manager, you'll enjoy the responsibility of managing your own P&L and the breadth of having Sales & Marketing, Production and Logistics functions reporting in to you.  We are looking for proven experience within a manufacturing environment along with a good understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.  You will enjoy engaging and fostering relationships with a diverse range of clients, so established networks within the local construction market would be highly beneficial.

An exceptional people leader, you thrive on the successes of your team and know how to take people on a journey.  You'll grow and inspire a culture where people are proud of what they're doing and are achieving goals as a team.  Through this, you ensure the business is achieving its goals around customer service and profitability.  The team are looking for someone who can not only understand the challenges they face, but also someone who will challenge their own thinking and be the driver of change and innovation.

To be considered for this role you must have:
  • Exceptional leadership skills
  • Previous experience managing a P&L
  • A proven track record of delivering results
  • Prior operations/manufacturing experience
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
This is a great opportunity to join a business with scale to keep you ahead of the pack and the support and investment that you just wouldn't get in a smaller business.  If you have experience in a similar role, leading a diverse team in excess of 20 staff and can meet all of the above requirements, then we want to hear from you.
