The role can either be fixed term for 6 months (salaried) or on contract for 3 months (hourly rate).
You will have the following experience:
- Shaping strategic Programmes of work
- Systems thinking
- Leading the development of advice to Ministers and pitching concepts to Ministers
- Writing high quality briefings, aide memoires and Cabinet papers under time constraints
- Translating strategic direction into practical ways forward
- Providing leadership, oversight, and direction on key pieces of work and to ensure the delivery of quality advice to Ministers and governance groups
- Supporting analysts to produce materials for use such as A3's, diagrams, short reports.
The purpose of this position is to put together the next steps on the Strategic/tactical programme plan, looking at the longer-term future/goal. This role requires some high-level tactical thinking for conceptualising where we are going and then being able to bring it to a practical level.
