Climate change! What's more important? Not much.

About the Company and the Role:
There's no denying reducing climate change is more important than ever right now. So, this is a rare chance to use your audit skills for the future of the planet rather than pure profitability.

Our client is a proud New Zealand company that works to inspire change and take action towards a sustainable world by reducing the carbon footprint of their clients. Initially developed for NZ owned businesses, but after substantial growth they now boast over 400 clients worldwide. Their audits are undertaken for clients to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the environmental program they are on.

As an Auditor, you will be involved in audits and undertaking audits, particularly GHG/carbon verification for organisations, products and projects. Other responsibilities include:
  • Travelling to and working on client's site up to 3 days a week or remotely depending on location
  • Working with the Client Delivery Team to improve audit processes and audit new products
  • Undertaking audits in other areas such as the Enviro-Mark programme

With this role, you'll have the opportunity to attend technical workshops and will be encouraged to grow in areas you're interested in.

About You:
You'll have a few years of audit experience and if you have done carbon auditing, that's even better! Coming from a practice background would be advantageous so you'll be comfortable working with several clients at once. You will also have a passion for or an interest in sustainability and the environment.

Our client is open to Auckland or Wellington based candidates but at this stage will be unable to look at those who are overseas.
