Earthquake Update - Wellington Office Still Closed
Added 18th of November, 2016
We just wanted to give you a brief update following
Sunday’s magnitude 7.5 earthquake near Hanmer Springs, and the aftershocks
which followed it.
Our thoughts and best wishes go out to all of those affected by the quakes. We were lucky enough to be able to confirm that all of our staff and their families were well - if a bit shaken up - by what had happened. We hope you were similarly fortunate.
Impact on Wellington office
However, we weren’t quite as lucky with our Wellington office. Following advice from both Wellington City Council and Civil Defence, we closed our office in the Wellington CBD on Monday. We have asked our staff to stay away from the CBD and to not attend our office until the building has been properly assessed by an engineer, which is currently underway.
Despite this disruption, it is business-as-usual. We have teams operating as normal across the country and our Wellington staff, via remote access to our files and systems, are working from home. This means that we're able to carry out all of our recruitment functions as usual and without interruption, ensuring that the quakes won’t in anyway effect the assignments we are working on.
