Position: Business Analyst (Information and Technology)
Type: Full-Time | Fixed Term 31st March 2026
Location: Auckland
 
About the role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join one of our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to improve business processes, manage projects, and translate customer needs into operational requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges and design effective solutions.
  • Oversee the execution of business initiatives, ensuring that all milestones are met within established timelines.
  • Facilitate process optimisation efforts by identifying areas for improvement and proposing actionable strategies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of project deliverables.
  • Maintain clear and continuous communication with all relevant parties to ensure alignment on objectives and progress.
Skills & Attributes
  • Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to engage with individuals across all levels of the organisation to drive results.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communicator, both in writing and speaking, with the ability to simplify complex information.
  • Proactive, with a strong drive to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
Qualifications
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a business analyst or similar role, with a strong understanding of business operations.
  • A degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • Experience with process mapping, business process reengineering, and requirements gathering.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
