About the Role
This exciting position plays a crucial role in managing relationships with key retail partners with a focus on French speaking Pacific Islands and driving growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key retail partners.
- Meet and exceed unit volume and gross margin sales targets for assigned accounts.
- Identify growth opportunities within channels and execute strategic plans to capitalise on them.
- Identify and qualify new channel opportunities to extend customer reach and increase sales.
- Forecast sales targets and provide written reports documenting progress towards goals.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
- Manage the launch process for all new products with assigned accounts, ensuring proper coordination across functions.
- Assist the Product Management team with the order management process.
- Develop new solutions for customers to grow market share, revenue, and margin.
- Must be willing to travel abroad on a quarterly basis to south pacific
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are:
- Fluent in French: must be able to confidently speak and understand the French language – high level proficiency
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in growing channels and driving revenue in a key account management role.
- Passion for Retail: A deep understanding and enthusiasm for the retail industry in New Zealand.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-Starter: Self-motivated and self-aware with a positive outlook.
