About the role:
This is a permanent, Auckland-based role managing both strategic supplier and key customer relationships. You’ll be responsible for growing revenue, gross margin and customer satisfaction across a defined portfolio — with an emphasis on increasing market share and driving performance across the full product lifecycle.
Your day-to-day will include:
  • Managing account growth and retention across key partners
  • Collaborating with suppliers and internal teams on ranging and product opportunities
  • Planning and executing marketing and promotional campaigns for new launches and in-life products
  • Identifying and actioning clearance strategies to optimise inventory and cashflow
  • Working closely with logistics and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Selling in added-value services and innovation to improve customer and supplier engagement
  • Helping deliver on the wider team’s budget, margin, and free cashflow targets
  • There is some limited travel expected, but most customer relationships are Auckland-based.
About you:
You’re commercially savvy, energetic, and highly customer focused — with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
You’ll bring:
  • Experience in account management or category/product roles (ideally in FMCG, retail, or tech)
  • A commercial mindset and comfort with revenue, margin and inventory metrics
  • Confidence working with global suppliers and developing joint business plans
  • Marketing and promotional planning capability
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, both internally and externally
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
