Greg McAllister

Head of HR Consulting


Greg led the NZ business and the South Island team until recently. At the beginning of this year he stepped back to pursue a more balanced lifestyle and now leads our Career Transitions Practice from his home town in Canterbury. He retains a strong interest in our business driving business development and strategic relationships across the country.

Greg brings the experience of over 25 years in human resource management and line management across a variety of sectors including Banking and Finance, Investments, Telecommunications, Health and Consulting. He has worked as an HR consultant and the early part of his career (and his Master's Thesis) was in career management and outplacement consulting. Prior to joining OCG he worked for a leading NZ Bank as General Manager Human Resources, Head of its Investments and KiwiSaver business and its Regional Relationship Banking teams. He is an avid long distance cyclist.
