About the organisation:
This group of exceptionally capable and dedicated people play a critical role in driving health and social wellbeing for all New Zealanders, especially those who need it the most. Based in the CBD this collaborative team really care about the work they do and the people they work with. They are small enough to make a difference, but the reach of their work is broad and tangible.

About the role:
As one of two leadership roles sitting within the operational delivery team, your focus will be on enhancing all practice related areas from offering investments opportunities, assessing applications,  managing contracts and awards. Critical to the role is your ability mentor and lead practice for other team members ensuring targeted and strategic initiatives are implemented.

About you:
With your proven ability to bring te ao Māori perspectives to your work, ideally within the context of coordinating or leading the delivery of health research investment processes, this role will be a natural fit for you. With a key eye for detail and organisation your project coordination or management skills will be second to none and you’re considered a natural leader by your peers.
  • Implementation leadership
  • Tertiary qualification in Health or Public Health (preferred)
  • Working commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
