About the organisation:
This group of exceptionally capable and dedicated people play a critical role in driving health and social wellbeing for all New Zealanders, especially those who need it the most. Based in the CBD this collaborative team really care about the work they do and the people they work with. They are small enough to make a difference, but the reach of their work is broad and tangible.

About the role:
This newly created role is charged with managing the research integrity and regulatory functions of the organisation. Alongside working collaboratively and proactively with multiple expert committees to progress the advancement of integrity policies and practices, you will also provide expert advice on legislation, policy and best practice guidelines to research ethics, safety and integrity.

About you:
Your background in research integrity including human and animal ethics will enable you to add significant value to this newly created role. You will have experience managing complex workstreams across multiple projects and ideally have also provided formal secretariat support to committees or boards. Your time spent working in an organisation accountable to Government, taxpayers, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and tangata whenua is critical.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement
  • Postgraduate qualification in Law, Health or Ethics (preferred)
  • Working commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
