About the role
You'll enjoy the autonomy of managing your customer base across your territory and while most of your customers are Auckland based you'll travel to Waikato and Bay of Plenty customers regularly. The customers are a mix of large retailers and smaller resellers so you'l be able to adapt your approach.
You'll draw on your experience to plan your approach to your customer base in a commercial and efficient way. You have the discipline to stick to your plan and the persistence to follow up with your customers. You may have honed your sales skills in another industry but ideally you will have exposure to retail customers and you know how to persuade them with data. You have the confidence to identify who you need to talk to within your customers' businesses and the ability to build relationships with various characters in the industry. You're analytical by nature so Excel won't faze you and you can articulate yourself verbally and by email. You'll bring enthusiasm to the role and the flexibility to travel out of town when your plan requires. Longer term you'll enjoy the opportunity a global company offers and in the meantime enjoy the opportunity to manage your territory efficiently and autonomously.
